The man responsible for putting all eyes on our beautiful corner of the world by bringing the Olympics to Vancouver in 2010 passed away today at the age of 76 from pancreatic cancer.

I thought it only fitting that today’s Friday Philosophy come from him, a man who knew how to organize and inspire.

“Anything I’ve achieved is because of the people I’ve hired to do it.”
